I thought the weather forecast said rain today- but not hail- in August?
I can hardly see the hills, towards Ruthin- raining like stair rods.
Josh is staying here at home for a few days- as it’s his birthday tomorrow. Twenty eight. He is pretty excited the anticipation of my present buying skills – I hope I have trawled the internet for his favorites again. Luckily Harvey is here for the weekend as well- which makes it feel more like Xmas than August, as he has his birthday in the next few days as well- but his presents are more easy to wrap – mainly in an envelope!
Josh has enjoyed the 1 pm karaoke session as usual- today mainly Abba songs. You can’t go wrong with a selection of Abba. The first few beats of ‘Does your Mother know’……..great 🙂
Curry for tea tonight- I will probably have my all time favorite Lamb Jalfrezi with Pilau Rice, Josh will no doubt order Chicken Bhoona, Julian a Chicken Dhansak and Harvey maybe Chicken Tikka Supreme ( or have I made that last dish up). Anyway it will be a change from cooking & I think a BBQ is definitely of the cards with these hail stones.
Lastly wanted to show you a photo of Josh from his performance with Hijinx last July at the Unity festival in Caernarfon in ‘the Market’ or ‘y Farchnad’ in Welsh. He is Police man George & I am quite pleased with his outfit I bought from Ebay, sewing on metal numbers to the shoulders, black clip on tie, and whistle as the finishing touches.
It’s stopped raining, looking more like August. X
